To assist Central Asian beneficiary countries in developing sex-disaggregated datasets on the agricultural and rural sector, in order to assess the current status of the rural population and support evidence-based and informed policy-making processes

To contribute to the development of the seed sector in the subregion and concerned countries, and to promote its integration into the international seed sector as a means to improve food security

To prepare a project document for the full phase of the project, based on the results of a mission to the Black Sea countries to assess needs and expectations relative to fisheries management and research, in consultation with the relevant national authorities and other relevant stakeholders

To increase public awareness and interest among policy and decision-makers and enhance the knowledge and experiences of forestry and other related agencies about integrated (multidisciplinary) and collaborative approaches to the implementation, rehabilitation and sustainable management of mountain watersheds

Increased capacities to monitor and evaluate land consolidation projects, and improved efficiency and effectiveness when implementing these projects

To create the necessary conditions for water users to share and develop new knowledge and skills for the effective planning and management of water resources
