Food for the cities programme

Global survey

The global survey was conducted in 2022, and received 182 valid responses from 147 different cities.

The results of this survey will be used to draw lessons on building resilience of city region food systems to multiple shocks and stresses. They will be widely disseminated to assist food system actors in developing innovative actions to support the resilience and sustainability of their food system. 

The analysis work is conducted by Thierry Giordano, with contribution from FAO CRFS team (Guido Santini, Carmen ZuletaFerrari, Roman Malec, Isabella Trapani, Jia Ni) and Institute of Urban Agriculture (China) colleagues Shulang Fei and Erli Wang.
