Forest and Landscape Restoration Asia

FLR Asia Video Journal

Volume I

The RESTORE: FLR Asia Video Journal is one of several outcomes from the regional Technical Cooperation Programme of scaling up forest and landscape restoration alongside the Hand in Hand Initiative (HIHI). The goal of RESTORE is to promote a culture of knowledge exchange on FLR projects in Asia and to expand accessibility to learning tools through the use of new formats.

RESTORE is similar to that of a published written journal, in that the materials provided by the authors are peer reviewed and the final published product is a result of that process. To ensure quality control of the videos, guidelines and technical support are provided by FAO and further consultations are available to provide guidance through this process.

Volume I showcases three FLR projects from Nepal and Bangladesh.

Volume II is upcoming and plans to highlight three more FLR projects.

The aim for Volume II is to provide more video and dynamic footage from the project sites which will help inform others in their own projects.
