The Forest and Landscape Restoration Mechanism (FLRM) will organize the inception workshop of the project “Forest and Landscape Restoration and Sustainable Land Management in the Sahel” in Niamey, Niger on 21 November 2017. This project is funded by the French Global Environmental Facility (FFEM) for a total amount of 1,8 million Euros with co-financing from the Action Against Desertification European Union project implemented by FAO, the Korea Forest Service, the French Agency for Development and the CBD secretariat through its Forest Ecosystem Restoration Initiatives (FERI). 

The inception workshop aims at:

1. sharing a common vision of project's objectives and content among partners
2. planning short-term activities for implementation from 2018
