The Environmental Leadership & Training Initiative (ELTI) announced a new online course and field week, “Restoration Boot Camp for Tropical Asian Forests.” The “boot camp” teaches professionals the skills and knowledge to address complex social, ecological and monitoring aspects of managing tropical Asian forests.

During the six-week online course (April 22 to June 2, 2019), participants undertake ten to twelve hours of weekly coursework. During the Philippines-based field week (June 17 to 22, 2019), participants visit demonstration sites and engage in field exercises.
