The Forest and Landscape Restoration Mechanism (FLRM) will organize in Rome, Italy at FAO Headquarters the second Steering Committee of the project "Forest and Landscape Restoration and Sustainable Land Management in the Sahel", funded by the FFEM (Fonds Français pour l’Environnement Mondial), which is supporting country activities in Burkina Faso and Niger.

This steering committe will aim to:

• Present the project activities in detail to the members of the national steering committees.
• Discuss and validate the work plan, budget, and implementation modalities at the national level for the period of 2019-2020.
• Collect recommendations to be submitted to the 5th FLR Advisory Group Meeting scheduled for October 4, 2019.
