FAO and Landscape Finance Lab are happy to invite all to the new online knowledge-sharing forum: "Valuation of ecosystem services to support FLR financing”.

This webinar will highlight methods and approaches to value ecosystem services. Through a practitioner's lens, speakers will introduce the concept of ecosystem valuation and its application in FLR using examples of specific methods to support financing for FLR implementation.

The objectives of the learning forum are:

• Understand the purpose of valuing ecosystem services 

• Learn how this can be applied to support the financing of FLR and Integrated Landscape Management

• An introduction to methods that can be used to value ecosystem services

• Learn about  challenges in using these approaches

Explore how valuation can support decision making and implementation of FLR on the ground.
