This conference will be an occasion to convene the African Forest Landscape Restoration (AFR100) country focal points, technical partners, and financial partners aiming to (i) foster peer-topeer learning about successful scaling up of forest restoration practices, and (ii) inform strategic interventions to assist countries in realizing their landscape restoration goals.

The AFR100 Regional Conference will offer an opportunity to strengthen the links with related initiatives and the Field Trip in Tigray to spread knowledge and share experiences as we look at the multiple impacts of large-scale restoration in Northern Ethiopia. AFR100 and its first conference are a contribution to the Bonn Challenge, African Resilient Landscapes Initiative (ARLI), and The New York Declaration on Forests.
