Steps
1. Soak cowpeas and remove the seed coats. Boil until soft and mashy.
2. Add a little salt.
3. Use a wooden spoon and press against the side of the pan to obtain a smooth paste or puree.
4. May be served with fried tomato sauce, with margarine or dzomi added.
