The 3rd Africa Dialogue Platform will be held virtually from the 27th to 29th of October 2020. During the 3-day event, a wide range of diverse and interactive events around the topics of anticipation in the humanitarian system, Forecast-based Financing, Early Warning-Early Action, Disaster Risk Financing and policy oriented sessions will be held and participants will be enabled to share their views and experiences. This event is organized by the Anticipation Hub and is hosted by the FAO and the German Red Cross. The event is also organized in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre (RCCC), the Start Network, and the World Food Programme (WFP).
