New Early warning early action (EWEA) web page on FAO in Emergencies website
©UNEP
Keywords: Anticipatory action, Climate, Crops, Early Warning, Monitoring & evaluation, Natural hazards, Protracted crises and conflicts,
In its current form, the page provides a simple overview of early warning early action (EWEA) and access to key information resources, such as our quarterly Global EWEA reports, acting as a basic web reference for our internal and external audiences.
With time the aim is to expand the content, both in terms of guidance as well as through features such as a social-media feed showcasing updates on EWEA, and a section highlighting stories and progress updates from the field. This is part of a broader effort to communicate more effectively and consistently with both FAO and external partners the latest developments from the growing number of global and country EWEA activities.
