Highlights from the MedSudMed initiative

The MedSudMed Programme, established in 2001, is a partnership between FAO, Italy, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests (MASAF) , and the 3 countries in the Straits of Sicily, contributing to food and nutrition security by sharing of knowledge,  multi lateral and sectoral actions and collaborative networks, strengthening the capacities of fisheries institutions and generating scientific knowledge on aquatic food systems.
