16/03/2022

From March 21 to 26, the 9th edition of the World Water Forum will take place in Dakar, Sénégal. This year's organising commitee seeks to make this of edition a catalyst for action on water and sanitation commitments and to ensure sessions and discussions are connected to the agendas, platforms and commitments related to the SDGs.

WaPOR has been labelled an “Initiative Dakar 2022” project, a collection of projects that benefit from international exposure, partnerships and possiby funding in virtue of having demonstrated real economic, social and environmental impact on the lives of populations.

🗓 WaPOR will be showcased in Session 2D1, together with WaterPIP and KnoWat on Wednesday 23 March from 9:00 to 10:30 (Dakar time). The session will focus on technological innovations and social approaches to improve water productivity and efficiency in agriculture.

Unfortunately the session will only happen in-person in Dakar, and will not have a virtual component. However, please remain attentive to WaPOR's news section for more information.
