Objective / Goal

Strengthen the resilience of Ivorian farmers to climate change by improving their understanding and use of agro-climatic information, fostering collaboration for better agricultural risk management, and supporting their long-term adaptation.

Activities
  1. Compilation and structuring of a database containing climate projections for the Bandama Valley, accompanied by an explanatory note to facilitate its use. 

  2. Development of a hydrological database covering the period 2020–2100, including a description of the methods and possible applications. 

  3. Preparation of a vulnerability assessment report for the different sectors of activity in the Bandama Valley in relation to climate change, including quantitative analysis and practical recommendations for decision-makers. 

  4. Production of a capitalization report on information and knowledge-sharing activities, intended for national institutions, local stakeholders, and the general public.
