This document is the final report of the Technical Consultation between Malawi. Mozambique and Tanzania on the Development and Management of the Fisheries of Lake Malawi/Niassa/Nyasa. The major topics discussed were:
current status of the fisheries in the Lake Malawi/Niassa/Nyasa national sectors; legislations, restrictions, monitoring, control and surveillance; and fisheries management and environmental degradation issues. The summary of the main recommendations and decisions is shown in Appendix D.
