Working Party on Communication and Outreach (WP-COM)
WP-COM enhances the visibility of IPC by strengthening communication and outreach activities. It develops knowledge products and supports broader engagement with stakeholders at global, regional and national levels.
Action plan 2025-2026
- Expand membership with broader geographical representation and technical expertise.
- Develop and publish new Highlight Sheets and infographics, including pending topics such as the Green Book overview, use of fracking wastewater for FGT irrigation, and history and value of windbreaks and shelterbelts.
- Strengthen collaboration with other Working Parties to co-produce outreach materials and share success stories.
- Maintain and update the IPC Photo Gallery and list of relevant international meetings.
- Enhance IPC’s online visibility and outreach through the website, educational resources, and coordinated communication efforts with the Secretariat.

Collaborates with all IPC Working Parties and international partners to improve communication and outreach.
