Global Food and Agriculture Statistics of FAO (FAOSTAT)

FAOSTAT is FAO’s global statistical database. It provides free access to food and agriculture data for over 245 countries and territories and covers all FAO regional groupings from 1961 to the most recent year available. FAOSTAT’s statistical data are mostly at national level, compiled from National Statistical offices, and cover production (crops, livestock, forestry), inputs (fertilizers, pesticides, land use, employment), trade (crops, livestock, forestry), annual population, investment (machinery, expenditures, credit), food balances, food security indicators, producer and consumer price indices, emissions from agriculture and other land uses, and agri-environmental indicators. Data can be filtered by country, item, element and years and exported in spreadsheet compatible format.
