Automatic System for Data Collection (ASDC) - video tutorial

Developed since 2013 in the framework of the FAO Locust Programme in Caucasus and Central Asia, the Automatic System for Data Collection (ASDC) is a platform that aims to facilitate data collection of standardized chrono-, geo- and taxo- referenced locust field data and transmission to the locust GIS entitled “Caucasus and Central Asia Locust Management System (CCALM)”. ASDC provides two forms to the users, the Locust Survey Form and the Spray Monitoring Form, allowing national field observers to quickly report findings. The application is available on the Play Store for most android devices in English, Russian and nine national languages (Armenian, Azeri, Georgian, Dari, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Turkmen and Uzbek).
