FAO in Namibia
Namibia joined FAO in 1991, and a country office was soon established. FAO supports Namibia through Technical Cooperation Programs, regional initiatives, and partnerships to build resilience against climate change and enhance food security and nutrition. Our work focuses on agriculture, fisheries, forestry, and rural development.
FAO Namibia collaborates with the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and Global Environment Facility (GEF) to implement vital environmental and agricultural projects, driving impactful change and fostering a food-secure, climate-resilient future.News
