FAO in Nigeria

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has been a major partner in Nigeria’s drive toward agricultural transformation and sustainable economic development. With Nigeria’s vast agricultural potential and growing focus on the Blue Economy, the country aims to boost food production, create jobs, and strengthen food security.
