The first Farmers’ Market at UN House Abuja, held in collaboration with the RC Advisor on Human Rights and FCT Farmers Association, allowed UN staff to buy produce directly from farmers. By eliminating middlemen, farmers earned more income, making the initiative both economically empowering and socially impactful.
