FAO is convening stakeholders for the launch of the Kaduna Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP)—a key step in strengthening last-mile animal health care in Nigeria 🐄💉
Building on national-level success, this workshop will: ✅ Foster trust and shared understanding among stakeholders
✅ Explore partnerships to support Veterinary Paraprofessionals (VPPs)
✅ Establish a functional state-level MSP structure
✅ Develop a one-year roadmap for VPP support
✅ Create a tailored stakeholder engagement plan for Kaduna
With leadership from the Chief Veterinary Officer and the National VPP Association, and FAO providing secretariat and financial support, the Kaduna MSP aims to build a sustainable public-private model for animal health delivery.
