This section provides information about food-based dietary guidelines and food guides from the European region.
As of 2020, over 30 countries in the region have national dietary guidelines for the general public, and a considerable number have also developed paediatric guidelines and educational materials for other age groups.
This section has been prepared in collaboration with the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe.
We invite governments to send us their new or revised dietary guidelines and to notify updates on the information pertaining to their countries.
