FAO and CEMA join forces - initial focus is on capacity building in Africa
2 October 2015, Rome - FAO and the European Agricultural Machinery Industry Association CEMA , an international non-profit organisation, today forged a new partnership that aims to promote wider use of sustainable agricultural mechanization in developing countries.

29 September 2015, New York - UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and Boulder Institute of Microfinance pledged to work together towards promoting broad access to financial services for the rural poor and to promote partnerships that increase responsible agricultural investments.
The MoU was signed on behalf of FAO by Maria Helena Semedo Deputy Director-General, Natural Resources and Robert Christen, President, Boulder Institute of Microfinance on 29 September at the FAO Liaison Office in New York. The collaboration between the organizations will support implementation of FAO’s Strategic Objectives and support capacity development, knowledge management, and private sector dialogue.

HSBC Agriculture branch visits FAO Headquarters to learn from the organization’s experience and know-how
24 September 2015, Rome. HSBC Bank approached FAO to learn from the organization’s experience and know-how on global challenges the food industry is facing. 2 September 2015, Rome - The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and MasterCard are joining forces to create an innovative new alliance against hunger. Kuehne Foundation and FAO signed an agreement last year to cooperate in supporting rural livelihoods through improved logistics. The combined capacities of both organizations increase the impact of their respective efforts to reduce food losses and waste. Kuehne Foundation and FAO are working together to respond to the increasing amount of crises and emergencies to increase the resilience of livelihoods from disasters.
