The Events page aims to highlight all related activities and events on an interactive map that promote the campaign. The Events page also aims to encourage the public and all stakeholders and partners to participate and showcase their efforts in raising awareness about the year. All users of the website that contribute to the Events page content, by registering their activity on the Events page, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following: General Provisions - Users acknowledge and accept to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and the FAO’s Terms and Conditions (http://www.fao.org/contact-us/terms/en/). In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and FAO’s Terms and Conditions (http://www.fao.org/contact-us/terms/en/), the present Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent necessary to resolve such conflict or inconsistency. - FAO has the right to remove from the Events page any information which is not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions and the FAO’s Terms and Conditions (http://www.fao.org/contact-us/terms/en/) and - Information provided by users who wish to submit one or more events, when registering via the form will be processed by FAO and stored in the Events page database in accordance with FAO’s corporate procedures, including its Privacy Policy (http://www.fao.org/contact-us/privacy-policy/en/). Such information will be used and may be made available to third parties exclusively for services related to and within the purposes of the Events page and Features, or FAO institutional activities. Users’ access - When registering on the Events page, users will be required to submit data, including Contact Data and Personal Data as defined in FAO’s Privacy Policy. Such data may comprise name, surname, country/location of the event, email address and area of expertise of users and, when applicable, the name and contact details of the organization or company they are representing or working for. By submitting entries to the Events page, users agree that their Contact and Personal Data may be processed, shared, and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the Events page and any other purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. - FAO reserves the right at any time, and from time to time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Events page, including any means of accessing or utilizing it, at its sole discretion with or without prior notice to users. - FAO may at its sole discretion, under any circumstances, for any or no reason whatsoever and with or without prior notice to users, terminate any user’s access to the FAO website, including to any means of accessing or utilizing it.
