A global methodology to set school meal nutrition guidelines and standards is currently being developed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP), with the support of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany (BMEL).
This work is being done within the framework of the project School food nutrition guidelines and standards for safeguarding children and adolescents’ right to food.
The methodology will be ready by the end of 2024, and will then be featured in this space.
