Portuguese Food and Economic Safety Authority (ASAE)
Portuguese Food and Economic Safety Authority (ASAE) acknowledged SAVE FOOD partner DariAcordar (Portugal) in their collaboration to ensure availability of appropriate food safety and quality monitor and evolution tools for recovery and redistribution of cooked meals.
Background: SAVE FOOD facilitated transfer of knowledge on DariAcordar – Zero Waste Movement model from national to EU level through the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) report on food donations and EU FP7 FUSIONS multi-stakeholder platform that is piloting a case study (Food Service Surplus Solution) based on its model.
