FAO has embraced South-South and triangular cooperation (SSTC) as a key delivery modality to catalyze agricultural development, food security, rural development, poverty reduction and nutrition over the past two decades. The FAO-Republic of Korea (ROK) project, aims to strengthen rice research and training institutions in Tanzania, Cote d’Ivoire, and the Philippines, developing competitive and inclusive rice value chains through SSTC.
