The FAO MEV-CAM Initiative has worked with local communities to produce a series of participatory videos, empowering them to capture and document best practices and Most Significant Changes brought by development projects in their areas. This video, filmed by local communities in Malawi, captures how beekeeping is used both to boost livelihoods and restore the local environment. The video also uses Theatre for Development, a vital tool for communication and advocacy in the Global South, that encourages local communities to become more involved in their own development through theatre, enabling them to assess issues and discuss possible solutions.
