Commission des statistiques agricoles pour l'Afrique, 19e session

La Commission africaine des statistiques agricoles est un organe statutaire de la FAO qui se réunit en session tous les deux ans. La Commission rassemble des hauts fonctionnaires du domaine de la statistique issus d’États membres de la FAO du continent africain, qui sont responsables des statistiques agricoles de leurs pays respectifs. Ceux-ci examinent la situation des statistiques alimentaires et agricoles en Afrique et échangent des idées à ce sujet. Par ailleurs, ils conseillent les États membres sur le développement de leurs systèmes de statistiques agricoles dans le cadre du Programme de travail et budget de la FAO pour l’Afrique.

L'Organisation des Nations Unies pour l'alimentation et l'agriculture (FAO) a organisé la 19ème session de la Commission africaine des statistiques agricoles qui s'est déroulée, du 24 au 27 octobre 2005, à Maputo (Mozambique).
