The International Trade Center's Market Analysis Tools (MAT) is a set of five web portals: Trade Map, Market Access Map, Investment Map, Trade Competitiveness Map and Standards Map which provides free online access to vast databases of statistics on issues related to international trade of more than 5000 products in over 220 countries. In particular:
•Trade Map broadly covers data and analyses about trade flows, competition, tariff, and trade opportutnities.
•Market Access Map covers customs and trade regulations.
•Investment Map compiles statistics on foreign direct investment, international trade, tariffs and foreign affiliated companies.
•Trade Competition Map (also called "Country Map) provides information on countries' trade performance index and comparison of trade statistics between countries.
•Standards Map is a database on private standards in global value chains context.
Users can make analytical tables, maps, and charts using various combination of coutries, products, and trade-related data from the Market Analysis Tool's databases when doing market analysis, identifying opportunities for products and market diversification.
