The Republic of Moldova possesses significant potential in table grape production, with opportunities to enhance productivity, consistency and quality, improve post-harvest and storage practices, and expand exports. The country is well positioned to strengthen market access, build climate resilience, and develop robust infrastructure to support its growing agricultural sector. Under the FAO One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) initiative, the joint FAO–UNIDO Agrifood Systems Transformation Accelerator Programme (ASTA), in coordination with the Government of the Republic of Moldova, conducted a rapid assessment of the table grape value chain and developed an innovative strategy to support its transformation and enhance its resilience and sustainability
