Seaweed farming remains a critical livelihood activity across coastal communities in Tanzania, particularly for women and youth. However, despite widespread participation the sector has long been characterized by low productivity, limited value addition and weak market integration.

A workshop on the EAF Implementation in the SWIOFC area organised by the EAF-Nansen project has just been held at the White Sands Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
