FAO in Tanzania
The United Republic of Tanzania joined FAO in 1962 and established the country office in Dar es Salaam in 1977. Over the years, Tanzania and FAO have been working closely together in the development and implementation of the country's policies, strategies, and programmes in agriculture, food and nutrition security, One Health, rural development, and climate resilience.
