A delegation from Uzbekistan visited Palencia, Spain, to explore advanced approaches to sustainable forest management, close-to-nature forestry, biodiversity conservation and climate change adaptation. Organized under the FAO–GEF project Sustainable Management of Forests in Mountain and Valley Areas in Uzbekistan, the study visit provided valuable practical experience to support the sustainable management and climate resilience of forest ecosystems in Uzbekistan.
