Participants will reflect on the APP’s progress and explore possibilities of expanding the programme to other regions. APP aims to strengthen phytosanitary technical capacity in Africa through specialized training in pest surveillance and detection, promoting use of harmonized survey protocols and delivery of advanced digital tools and geospatial applications. Four participating countries— Egypt, Mali, South Africa and Uganda—will present their achievements, benefits and lessons learned, showcasing national-level impact and ownership.
