The GIAHS Certificate Award Ceremony will be organized at FAO in person where official GIAHS certificates will be awarded by FAO Director General to representatives of twenty four new GIAHS sites designated after April 2018. This event is also expected to review all new GIAHS sites and exchange the issues, challenges and future plans. Besides the certificate ceremony, an exhibition event of the information on new GIAHS sites and small side events will be held.
