The OECD and FAO will present the key findings of their annual report. The publication coincides with a downward movement in global agricultural prices, reflecting optimistic supply prospects of certain commodities such as cereals and vegetable oils. The trend is expected to continue further in the coming years as a result of the production response to recent high prices. The OECD-FAO Agricultural Outlook 2014-2023 includes price projections for cereals, oilseeds, sugar, cotton, meat and dairy products as well as biofuels. It considers changes in the availability of, and demand for, such commodities as a source of food, feed or fuel over the next decade.
