The theme of World Food Day (WFD) for 2025 is “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future”.
The main event for World Food Day 2025 will include opening remarks by senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, FAO-Türkiye, and the Federation of Food and Drink Industry Associations of Türkiye, followed by a WFD Award Ceremony and a panel discussion on the FAO-Türkiye Partnership Programmes: “Partnering for Better”.
Participants will include the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Presidential Strategy and Budget Directorate executives, and representatives of the private sector and the Federation of Food & Drink Industry Associations. The panel will highlight Türkiye’s role as a key FAO partner in advancing food security, sustainable agriculture and natural resource management through flagship programmes such as the FAO-Türkiye Partnership Programmes.
