Analysis of the legal framework for disaster risk reduction in Europe and Central Asia

This report examines how legal frameworks support disaster risk reduction (DRR) and disaster risk management (DRM) in the food and agricultural sectors across 16 countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Covering both overarching legislation and sector-specific laws, it provides a comprehensive overview of how countries address risks affecting crops, livestock, forestry, fisheries and other key subsectors. The report highlights that while general DRR/DRM legislation exists across the region.
