The Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA), a National Centre within the Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC), is an autonomous Public Research Organisation (OPI) of the State Secretariat of Research, Development and Innovation of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. It's the only public research organisation of the National State Administration exclusively dedicated to agrifood and forestry research.
