Master's degree in agroecology and ecological production for sustainable development

The Simon Bolivar Andean University (UASD for its acronym in Spanish) presents the second edition of the Master's Degree in Agroecology and Ecological Production for Sustainable Development. The Master will focus on agroecology and ecological production as an alternative to build and rethink the approach of "well-being" from an integral perspective of solidarity, social participation, proper expertise, and environmental awareness, creating a model of agriculture with a solid foundation of sustainability. It will provide a comprehensive curriculum based on:

  • Strengthening professional capacities, abilities, and skills related to in-depth analysis and practical application from different realities (rural-urban) for decision-making in sustainable agriculture (local, regional and national), based on agroecology and ecological production;
  • Describe and explore agroecology as a science and practice in relation to its paradigm, principles, and dimensions.
