The online manure calculator tool helps determine the amount of manure produced on farms, estimated the nutrient content and determines the required size of the storage sites. Over 100 production methods of animal husbandry, husbandry methods can be selected and adapted, for example, the grazing rate, the amount and type of litter. The amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash produced per production process is calculated. Precipitation levels, paved yard areas and the amount of process water produced can be taken into account when planning the deposits. The results contain quantities of waste and nutrients as well as the investment requirements for the necessary deposits for the entire operation. The calculations are applicable for conventional and organic farmers, and the tool is interesting for farmers with a higher amount of livestock. The tool is available online through KTBL, but a free registration ("Login" on the top right in the header). This allows you to save and reuse your results.
