Planning and policy making for the development of post-harvest fisheries has been hampered by a lack of information or little easy access to information on post-harvest fish losses and tools to help plan interventions. The technology is a MS Excel model, a Post Harvest Fish Loss Model v1. It enables the user to mimic the effect of loss reduction interventions at different stages in the fish supply chain.
