Re: Call for best practices in transforming food systems for affordable healthy diets and addressing key drivers of food insecurity and malnutrition

Dear FSN,

Thank you for requesting for best practices to transform the food system. I am submitting 2 case studies on behalf of much broader teams in Malawi and Tanzania - both examples of participatory agroecology initiatives. We have documented significant transformative changes in many arenas - social, environmental, economic and health - as a result of these initiatives. The approach taken is, in our view, as important as the agricultural techniques used.
