Pls find our joint submission in the attached document, which is in response to the FAO’s recent call for best practices in transforming food systems.
The intervention described is that of landscape restoration, which we were able to test thoroughly through our Drylands Development Programme in the drylands of Ethiopia. We believe it is an intervention that is able to transform food systems and contribute substantially to improved food security and nutrition.
I’ve also attached a number of Impact Briefs (dated Nov 2018) that our team generated for our National Workshop that illustrate the multi-sectoral effects of this kind of intervention.
