Objetivo:

Entre los días 19 al 22 de junio de 2023 en la Ciudad de México, México, se realizará  la reunión sobre la agenda de gestión de los suelos en Latinoamérica y el Caribe y  adopción de herramientas para promover sistemas agroalimentarios resilientes. Los objetivos de la reunión son: 

• conocer los resultados del proyecto regional “Apoyo a la cooperación regional para la gestión climática de los ecosistemas agrícolas con énfasis en agua y  suelo”;
• fortalecer la cooperación entre socios estratégicos y la ASLAC;
• llevar a cabo la 10ª Asamblea Plenaria de la Alianza por el Suelo de Latinoamérica y el Caribe (ASLAC) para preparar el plan de acción de la región y la participación durante la Asamblea Global.

Objective:

From 19-22 June 2023 in Mexico City, Mexico, will take place the meeting on “The agenda for soil management in Latin America and the Caribbean and adoption of tools to promote resilient agri-food systems”. The objectives of the meeting are:

• to learn about the results of the regional project "Support to regional cooperation for the climate management of agricultural ecosystems with emphasis on water and soil";
• to strengthen cooperation between strategic partners and ASLAC;
• to hold the 10th Plenary Assembly of ASLAC,  to prepare the region's action plan and participation during the Global Assembly.
