Bolivian government invests in the Potosí productive sector

This is part of the Territorial Economic Development with Inclusion project, which has provided support to the area since 2013 with an investment of over 40.8 million bolivianos (over $5.8 million).

The Bolivian government has invested nearly $38 million from 2006 to 2017 in order to strengthen the productive sector in the Department of Potosí, according to the Ministry of Land and Rural Development.
According to the institution, 972 projects were executed during this period, which benefitted 96,859 families, 318 in agricultural, 450 in livestock and 204 in rural development.

The executive branch has also provided support for food production in 6,097 hectares of fields in Potosí.
