Developing the work plan

The work plan identifies a concrete set of activities that are realistic to accomplish given the available time period, resources and skills available in the core team and/or wider SAG. The work plan should also contain a strategy for multi-stakeholder engagement and participation in each module, as noted above.

The purpose of the work plan is to outline the steps to be carried out in the assessment and planning process, to assign responsible stakeholders, and to set out expected products or outputs and timescales so as to ensure accountability.

Template: Work plan action grid

A template action grid for the project team to set out the work plan, made up of actions or tasks, stakeholder responsible, resources, products or outputs, and timeline or deadline.
