Yemen: UN agencies appeal for urgent assistance to avert a catastrophe

10 February 2017, Sana'a--- As the food crisis in Yemen deteriorates, UN agencies are calling on the international community to help avert a catastrophe. According to the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Food Programme and the United Nations Children’s Fund – UNICEF – the conflict has left more than two-thirds of Yemenis struggling to feed themselves.
